Christmas Shopping or Spending Time...?




I got up this morning, got ready, and I took a trip over my moms house to help decorate their Christmas tree ( might as well since I have no tree) . Freddy and I have not gotten are Christmas tree yet... we have to wait until next weekend, I can't wait !!

After my moms house I had plans to go with my abuela to lunch and the mall. I brought my sister along with me since she had to go into work at 3:00pm(Hallmark), God Bless her!!! My sister, abuela, and I had lunch together and it was so sweet. As I get older I have learned to appreciate "spending time" with my grandparents and listening to their stories. After eating we walked around the entire mall ( I can proudly say I did not purchase one thing) and we went home.

I dropped off my abuela and went to my moms house again because she had something for me to pick up. As I entered my moms house I heard SUPER loud Christmas music playing and she was singing along while cleaning!! I can't remember the last time my mom was so happy about Christmas! For a while my mom had not been feeling to good during the Holidays. I was so happy to see her feeling this way. I stayed for a while to admire her tree, decorations and reminisce her happy times again.

Arrived home to freshen up.... and meet up with my good friends from HS tonight !


I spent so much quality time with people that I love today .... and forgot about "shopping" haha
