Hurricane ... Hurricane... Hurricane

I know everyone has heard of "Rita" heading toward Texas and I know some of my friends have relatives and friends in Texas. My dad and my step-mom (Rhonda)live near Galveston , and so do all my uncles, aunts, and cousins they all had to evacuate their home and travel up northern Texas to a friends house. I have not spoken to him at all , but I got this info from my abuelos.Hopefully I will get in touch with him before the storm hits. Please keep my family and the other citizens in your prayers.Hopefully, the hurricane does not hit Louisiana again !!

Update: 2:20pm
Well, I spoke to my dad finally !! (relief) he said that to drive to where my step-brother Ryan is ( Blinn College) it took them 13hrs when usually it takes them only 2hrs! All they could do was board up their house and take important documents and pictures. Then, my dad mentioned his 45 foot pine trees in the back of the yard ... oh no ... hopefully those don't TIMBER!
Thank God they evacuated when they were supposed to.. at least their safe and I pray that their home does't get destroyed because they put so much hard work into their house!
